Common Dental Emergencies We Treat

Chipped, Cracked, or Broken Tooth

Rinse gently with warm water to clean the area. Apply a cold compress to reduce swelling or discomfort. Bring any broken pieces in a clean, moist cloth when you come in.
1

Loose or Knocked-Out Tooth

Hold the tooth by the crown, never the root. Rinse gently if needed. If possible, place it back in the socket; if not, store it in milk or keep it in your mouth between cheek and gums. Call us immediately to maximize the chance of saving the tooth.
2

Severe or Persistent Tooth Pain

Lingering tooth pain may indicate infection or advanced decay. Over-the-counter pain relievers provide temporary relief but do not address the cause. Contact us promptly for a proper diagnosis and treatment.
3

Bitten Lip, Cheek, or Tongue

Clean gently and apply a cold compress to reduce swelling. Seek care if bleeding is heavy or persistent.
